Òbí is one of the most essential elements that we use in Yoruba culture.  We use it too appeal to Oriṣas, and to communicate with Oriṣas within the Yoruba Spiritual tradition (Isese). We also use Òbí too consult with certain Oriṣas, like:

Yemoja

Òbí is used mostly for rituals conducted in the Yoruba religious system.  Most of the time we use it to connect to the energies of the Oriṣas, to implement Aṣẹ on the the prayer.  More importantly, Òbí  is for the use of priest/priestess and other Yoruba traditional rulers only.  So please consult your spiritual advisors before use.  Overall all Yoruba African Traditional  Religion practicioner use it.
